Mashing Buttons

a couple of gamers blogging about games

Lee

Lee’s very first gaming console was an Atari 2600 which was later upgraded to an Atari 7800 and to this day he has no idea what the difference was except for the case.

Then came the Sega Master System (he did not finish Alex Kidd) and after that the Super Nintendo where he was introduced to Street Fighting and the terror of a 3D environment and lurking Raptors in the Jurassic Park game.

Instead of transferring over to the Sony Playstation like all the cool kids were, Lee stayed true to the Nintendo line and bought a Nintendo 64 which had memorable games such as Goldeneye Mario 64, Mario Kart, Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time and Donkey Kong County.

Then came a dark time in Lee’s game playing life where very little went on and his Nintendo 64 plus games were sold on eBay.

Few games were played.

Sadness grew.

Then one day a PS2 entered his life and gaming joy returned. Lee still has that PS2 and it occasionally still gets dusted off even though there is a much loved PS3 and Wii in the house.

Lee’s gaming-capable kit includes:

  • Nintendo Wii
  • Nintendo DS (it’s my wife’s, but I can still look at it)
  • iPhone 3G 8GB
  • Apple Mac Book Pro - 13-inch: 2.66GHz
  • Dell PC and HP laptop
  • PS2
  • Slim PS3 120 GB
